"Because we were all so pleased with the previous ASK21 refinishing, we sent away our LS-4 for a total shape-up including a 3000 hr service and modifications including installation of a tail-wheel, nose release hook and wing-lets. The glider is just beautifully re-finished, and we are all very pleased with the result.

Further, on the positive side, we congratulate Refinish with outstanding Schwabellack finish on the entire glider. Super job also done with the mylar strips with improved, stronger tap system.

The Z-turbulator strips under the wings and on the fin was a very positive surprise ! When we flew it we were very pleased to see the airbrakes absolutely flush with the wing. Also, cockpit interior renewal beautifully done with new textile sides and side pockets.

The nose release hook installation as well as the very neat tail-wheel installation also a solid peace of good hand crafting. Finally, the beautiful new wing-lets top up the job in a way which makes our 29 year old lady really look like a factory new plane.

Regarding the 3000 hr service, this has been done to satisfaction including the absolutely complete documentation.

When we add to the story that you at Refinish also managed to co-ordinate and have our trailer be fitted with new tow bar system, new undercarriage/ axle and wheels as well as external lights along each side + very neat fixtures for the winglets, we had a great day at the club when we arrived last Friday evening for assembly. A really great day for the club.

 „We have now, finally, inspected the ASK-21. We are stunned by the beautiful craftsmanship. Surfaces normally come out fine, but many fail on details like around the brakes, cockpit framing, wing and tailplane attachment etc., but all this looks like factory new or better! And you have even added that little teflon plate on which we can slide the wing spar into the fuselage on assembly and disassembly. Nice detail ! Only regret that we did not ask for full refurbishment of the cockpit as well. Definitely we will recommend that to anyone we talk to, thinking of ReFinish.”
