1. Work to be done form is completed by the client before we receive the glider and all necessary materials are organised.
2. When the glider is delivered everything including the trailer and fittings is recorded via a series of photos.
3. The Glider is removed from the trailer and all relevant details are photographed and described.
4. The glider is disassembled and all removed items are given their own area in a secure room.
5. Any markings, logos etc. are carefully measured and templates made.
6. All elements are carefully weighed using electronic scales and all control surfaces have their weight and mass balance recorded.
7. The gel coat is carefully removed by hand (NO Power Tools) from all surfaces.
8. Any problems with the underlying structure are carefully examined and photographed.
9. If there are any repairs necessary a quote is prepared and agreement sought from the client.
10. Any agreed repairs or modifications are carried out.
11. The glider begins the refinishing process.
12. The glider is sprayed and flatted back until a perfect surface finish is achieved.
13. The Canopy surround is regelled and the cockpit is refurbished if required.
14. All control surfaces are carefully measured for weight and mass balance and any necessary work is done to make sure they are within manufacturers
tolerances.
15. Markings are carefully painted to the clients requirements.
16. All parts are again weighed and noted.
17. Mylar seals are fitted according to the client/manufacturers requirements.
18. The glider is rigged.
19. The glider is weighed.
20. The glider is given a final inspection by independent quality inspector before pickup is due to make sure that everything conforms with our high standard.
21. Any problems discovered are rectified.
22. The glider is put back in it's trailer exactly as it came and is made ready for collection.
